they can pass the law but the law doesn't really solve the problem. it creates new ones. in my city last week there were protests in front of mcdonalds. unions want past food workers the new york times put this protest in the front page. she says mcdonalds pays her $8 an hour but she deserves 15. so civil rights groupsnd union demand a higher living wage they may get it.
